What it's like to travel across the North Pole

Scott asked me to write about my experience travelling. If you are naturally a night owl, thsi was a tolerable trip, If you can stick it out staying awake about 6-8 hours past what you are used to, it can work fairly well... so far. The interesting thing about this whole experience was that our whole trip was completely daylight - even through the "night" when we were trying to sleep. Why? Two reasons, actually. First, we were heading East. Second, we flew over the North Pole, which at this time of year is continually sunny.

Sleeping on the plane was not the best, of course, but I was able to get some sleep on the plane which helped me stay awake until last night when I could get a regular night's sleep. Our guest house room was comfortable which made for a good night's sleep.

We met Jon and Becky, and then ate dinner together. Then we crashed about 10 p.m. Thai time (about 11 a.m. Saturday in PA). Today we are heading to church and then seeing Bangkok. Thank you all for praying for us.
